Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked ministries and relevant sectors to study the effects on Viet Nam of the tax reforms US President Donald Trump signed into law last month.
With strengthened access to credit and improvement in tax reforms, Viet Nam moved up 14 places to rank 68 among 190 countries in the 15th edition of the World Bank’s Doing Business 2018 report, themed “Reforming to Create Jobs.”
The calculation of time spent on filing taxes and making payments is
based on World Bank criteria, with consultancies from Pricewaterhouse
Coopers and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
